RESONANCIA Collection | VESTIGIOS Series

Created in Mexico in 2021 in oil on paper, América belongs to VESTIGIOS, a series that reflects on the traces left by experience and the ways in which memory continues to inhabit the present. Rather than recalling the past, the works in this series consider how lived experience remains active long after moments of change have passed. 

Although informed by a life shaped by movement between places and cultures, ALPA’s work resists autobiography, favouring an open visual language through which each viewer may establish a personal relationship with the image. América is unique, signed by the artist, and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
