Created between Mexico and Spain in 2025 in oil on paper, Ilusión de Amor belongs to VESTIGIOS, a series that reflects on the traces left by experience and the ways in which memory continues to inhabit the present. Developed during a period in which ALPA's practice unfolded across different countries and cultural contexts, the work forms part of a visual language shaped by movement, continuity, and the experience of beginning again.

Rather than drawing from autobiography directly, ALPA transforms lived experience into an open visual language through which each viewer may establish a personal relationship with the work. Ilusión de Amor is unique, signed by the artist, and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
